The Association provides a social network for all those interested in quilting in Western Australia. In addition to sharing and preserving quilting knowledge, members and the Association are involved with community activities and events. WAQA works with all the Australian quilting guilds as part of Quilt Australia (formerly the Australian Council of Quilters).
